Sensible Shoccer

Euro 2008 qualifying approaches, and we can look forward to a ruddy difficult campaign under the madness of King Stan. It was all going ok until the Czech Republic came out of the hat to finish off a tough group for qualifying:

We have the beating of San Marino and Cyprus. If we don't then we can wave goodbye. Wales could prove tricky, especially with Robbie Savage living up to his name and causing us great physical harm. They're the Israel of this campaign. Now for the news on Slovakia. Slovakia are a team that are so good it will suprise most. This is not as simple a fixture as it may seem. The Slovakians are on the way up. You read it here once. However, like the Welsh, I still think we can beat them. These are must-win games and we can't afford to sit back like we did against those Israeli fuckers the last time. Onto the obvious must-win games...

The "German side in decline" have been in decline for too long now. We must remember that this team is very similar to the side that made it (while in decline, apparantly) to the World Cup final in 2002. Never rule out the Germans, they're not the kind of team that don't make it to FIFA's major tournaments. However, as hosts of World Cup 2006 they haven't played competitively in a long time. Let's hope don't get much practise in during the World Cup. Maybe we can shock them, like they did to Poland all those years ago.

And the Czechs... We need a miracle to hold these guys back, I predict them to go far in the World Cup this summer. Currently ranked at number 2 in the World, they are this campaign's "French fuckers". Can't wait to see Klunk up front for the Czechs at least though.
